Bella was awesome! She suggested a beer, my 1st one ever that I ordered from a bar. Thanks Bella! It was good. Food was good. The staff was great, even the bus boy was enjoying himself and singing as he was cleaning.
The service was amazing, made sure everything was good and kept up on refills. The atmosphere was incredible with amazing designs all around the restaurant. The food was great but there wasn't too many options. The majority was salad, pizza, and sandwiches, with a few other things. But those pizzas were amazing.
I have always loved the fact that the mushroom offers a pretty strong vegan menu. Great for people sensitive to dairy and a number of other things, and lets a group with a wide variety of dietary restrictions eat together. Chatt’s mushroom isn’t as cool inside as some of the other ones, but it’s a good vibe, and the food quality is good.
Vegan pizza (byo): 9/10 - might have been a 10, but they forgot the basil. Nbd, we all make mistakes sometimes.
Normal cheese pizza: 9/10
Pretzels: 7/10 - would be better with brown/deli or Düsseldorf mustard
Vegan tempeh hoagie: 6/10 - the tempeh itself is pretty good, but the hoagie execution isn’t quite right. Bread got over-toasted and hard, lettuce was wilted and mushy like it got toasted with the rest of the sandwich, overall not a great sandwich as a unit.
Rough weekend, back in town to work.
Bought two pizzas, simple cheese, and pepperoni!
Got a bag of ice at the hotel desk, and gave cheese pizza as tip!
I went to my room, lick my wounds from the disaster of a weekend!

But this place was a nice settlement for easing back to hard reality!

Pizza was fabulous and Gianna was so sweet! I had a pesto base with bacon, fresh mozz and spinach and my kid had pepperoni and fresh mozz. I wish my stomach had been as big as my eyes as it was wonderful!
