New Owners Renovate Mellow Mushroom Mt. Dora with New Look and New Team

Mount Dora, FL (March 30, 2023) – Pizza lovers have reason to celebrate. April 3, 2023, marks the opening of a completely renovated Mellow Mushroom with new owners at the restaurant in Mount Dora. It is located at 18221 US-441, Mount Dora, FL, 32757. Chuck and Stacey Votey have 19 years of experience operating Mellow Mushroom restaurants and this is their fourth Mellow Mushroom restaurant in the Orlando area.

Mellow Mushroom’s stone-baked pizzas, great local brews, and hand-crafted cocktails, along with freshly made salads and a wide assortment of munchies, will be available for dine-in guests as well as online ordering. 

 

New Design Highlights

The restaurant features an open floor plan and vibrant design with a large indoor/outdoor bar and outdoor patio. These details provided inspiration for the restaurant and are woven throughout the interior.  

Highlights include:

• Four-sided Victorian clock suspended from the center of the atrium
• A large mural in the main dining space — featuring Alice in Wonderland and additional Lewis Carroll imagery
• Tables and booth enclosures with iron detailing — reminiscent of a bird cage
