Mellow Mushroom Hoover - The Story

The art throughout the restaurant is a mix of images of popular music legends from across the ages, including a mural of a Widespread Panic concert and a quilted portrait of John Lennon, as well as fun Mellow Mushroom art pieces. The restaurant decor is playful and surprising with the inclusion of bikes, kayaks, and elk suspended throughout the space. A large VW bus and a small VW car emerge from the walls, and a treehouse hangs from the upstairs private dining room. There are two patios available for outdoor dining.

Great server and food! We were seated immediately and our server, Emily, was all smiles and pleasant personality. She was a joy to have taking care of us! We got the spinach artichoke dip appetizer which was tasty, along with a pepperoni pizza. We enjoyed it and the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for really fresh, clean and delicious pizzas, hoagies, calzones, salads, and other bites. Their atmosphere is real chill and clean. Waiters/waitresses are awesome and friendly. It’s became my daughter’s new spot. So, it looks like we will be coming here often :-D

Had the Merry Prankster, one of the best pizzas I've eaten in a long time! I split a large with my friend and we only finished half of it. The white drizzle has a rich, intense garlic flavor that almost overpowers the pizza but when I reheated my leftovers, the drizzle melted right into the cheese and it was downright heavenly. Service and atmosphere were both great, can't wait to come back

Mellow Mushroom is always a good idea. High quality ingredients, pizza is always hot and fresh. We sat at the bar, the bartender was friendly and pleasant, we ordered an appetizer, drinks and a great white pizza, delicious. I would highly recommend and will return when next visiting the area.

I wanted to try something different and thats exactly what I ate. I enjoyed the environment and my server, they were amazing 💞 but I would like to discuss this Pineapple Express for just a brief moment…. It was so delicious I ordered a second one. 🍍
