Mellow Mushroom Tempe - The Story

Located in the heart of Tempe, the stylish brick building features a patio where guests enjoy the downtown vibe. Inside, the restaurant is an open floor concept inspired by skateboard culture that features graffiti-style artwork and industrial accents. The murals include images of tribal elephants and owls mixed in with cogs and gears. Behind the bar is a 3D mural of a turntable with a large red and yellow record.

About Mellow Mushroom Tempe

Located near Arizona State University, our restaurant has been a local favorite since 2011. Guests come in regularly for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and a great time!

I love all the seating options and the food was really tasty! I like the location is convenient, and you're able to get pick up or delivery! I love the cheese bread and the house special was loaded with toppings . The wings were okay price . The small pizza is about a size for one person .

Great place with a great atmosphere and amazing food! I got a “Wild In Havana” at it was amazing! I would recommend it to anyone who has a slightly adventurous palate. I got a small which was plenty of food for an adult male. He server was a little slow, and that was noticeable since it wasn’t particularly busy. I’d go again, and recommend it to anyone in a heart beat!

We sat outside on an absolutely beautiful night and had some of the yummiest pizza ever. The pizza may have been my favorite food the entire trip. We had the potato pizza without bacon and it was perfectly vegetarian. Delicious crust! Service was good.

This isn't a place I would normally choose to go to. However it was one of the only spots open and I needed to eat. I was pleasantly surprised though. It has a good selection of beers and the staff was really friendly. The food was good. The wings were awesome and the "pretzel bites" were more like "dough bites", but still tasty.
