Mellow Mushroom Chesterfield - The Story

The Mellow Mushroom Chesterfield restaurant pays homage to the music, art, and breweries of the St. Louis area. Outside the restaurant, a large statue spelling out LOVE welcomes guests to the restaurant. Walk inside to a vibrant pizza restaurant filled with columns shaped like mushrooms and an oversized vinyl record table that references Blues legend and St. Louis area native Miles Davis. The colorful yet earthly feel of the restaurant is anchored by a Le Corbusier-inspired mural comprised of mid-century modern shapes. The restaurant celebrates the love, nature, and beauty of Missouri throughout the design, from the modern statues, to the light fixtures, to the retro metal heart pieces and shadow artwork.
