Mellow Mushroom Sanford - The Story

Inspired by the 1970s, our restaurant has an Americana theme with a friendly neighborhood vibe. Guests enter the restaurant walking under or past a giant mushroom statue with a purple stalk and orange cap. Two giant color-changing light fixtures resemble mushrooms with stars and stripes on the caps. For a larger than life viewing experience, a TV wall featuring nine screens brings entertainment to the next level.

About Mellow Mushroom Sanford

Located near the Seminole Town Center Mall, our restaurant is a local favorite. Guests come in regularly for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and a great time!

We are NOT vegetarians, but this pie looked good on the menu so we tried it. It's the Great White and it was delicious. No that falls short, it had so many flavors and textures it was a real treat. Four cheeses, sun dried tomatoes roasted and garlic on a really great crust. Five stars. We don't like feta much, but we liked it here. No grease pizza. To top the whole visit off the server, Kim, was terrific, she was busy but took time with us and everyone else. Good job. Check this place out.

Mellow Mushroom is one of our favorite places to eat. Fresh healthy ingredients, a flair of creativity, and expert preparation create some of the best pizza topping combinations, hearty salads, burgers and sandwiches. They offer delicious gluten-free versions of their pizzas, brownies and other favorites. Appetizers are just as creative as the pizzas. The pretzels and pretzel bites are a good shareable. Salads are hearty and loaded with great flavors, add chicken to up the protein and flavors. Cookies, brownies, and sundaes to finish your meal. Good beer selection, cocktails and mocktails to accompany your meal. Ask the staff about restaurant themed merchandise, t-shirts and gear. Big Wally Tip - Dip your crusts in the house Esperanza Dressing. 👍

Our server was Taylor and she was a Superstar! 🌹❤️‍🔥🤑 Our House Special with Chicken & Bacon pizza was the best pizza I have eaten in years! It tasted so fresh that I had forgotten just how good pizza can be! But Taylor and her heart stopping smile made the experience a memory to cherish! (She was so sweet I had to see my dentist for the cavity she caused☺️)

Food was tasty, short staffed but sever very responsible and quick. Fresh tasting as well. No wait.
