Mellow Mushroom Winter Park - The Story

Inspired by The Beatles, the restaurant invites guests to step into the epic album Yellow Submarine. The building’s exterior features wood siding, large pebble stones, and modern LED lighting. The spacious patio features a playful mural of The Beatles playing golf and an abundance of plants and ferns decorating the walls and awning. Inside, a mural with the faces of band members on Mt. Rushmore adorns one wall. Offbeat, backlit images hang from the ceiling. Surreal images adorn the dining room walls and the bar area, creating a dream-like atmosphere.

About Mellow Mushroom Winter Park

Located near Rollins College and Full Sail University, we’ve been a favorite of Winter Park locals and students for more than 15 years. Guests come to us for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! The Shitake Pizza was so good, it had just the right amount of truffle oil and mushrooms. The small size is just the right portion for someone who’s hungry. Also, the bruschetta was tasted very fresh. They have a good selection of beers as well. The service was good and the pizza came out quick. I can’t wait to go back and try the more interesting pizza combos.

We got dinner for 9 people. There was a lot of food for 9 people. The drinks were good and the food was fresh and tasty! The only thing that was bad happened when we got out pizza, there was an eyelash in my cousin's pizza! Stay safe out there!

I have never been to mellow mushroom before and let me tell you this is one of the best pizza places I have been to. The service was great the waitress was very nice and helpful. Food came out in a timely matter. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be going back.

I had heard a lot about this place during my time living in Central Florida and had been meaning to go for a long time. After finally going, I can see why everyone talked about it so highly. It's a relatively small place, but they nailed it. The atmosphere is relaxed, the music is great, and the staff is kind and cheerful. The food is on another level. The pretzel bites appetizer with the dipping sauces were a treat. They have pizzas that are on the stranger side, but the two pizzas I've tried have been phenomenal (BBQ chicken and mushroom). I will absolutely be going back to this place to try more of their specialty pizzas (and probably some "normal" ones too). Then their cookies, which they offer to warm up, are dangerously good. I cannot recommend this place enough if you're a fan of pizza. And if you're not, I'm sure the other food they have on the menu is just as good.
