Mellow Mushroom Albany - The Story

Inspired by rock n’ roll from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, the restaurant’s theme comes through loud and clear. The exterior has cream-colored siding, a blue roof, and green and red accents. A porch wraps around the front and side of the building, supported by baby blue columns. Guests can dine on the outdoor patio under the shade of a mushroom-like roof. The focal point of the interior is a massive mural featuring album covers and other musical touches that wraps around the dining room. Bold paint choices and bright pendant lights tie the space together.

About Mellow Mushroom Albany

Located near Chehaw Park, Mellow has been a favorite of locals since 2007. Guests come in for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! As a longtime member of the community, we’re proud to support local sports teams, organizations, and events.

Driving by this we order like 20 minutes before closing a large cheese pizza. It was the only place open and we were a bit worried we would t make it on time. They had our pizza ready to go. Each bite was triggering happy childhood memories, it was really good even though it was just a cheese pizza. The lady at the front was super nice! I personally appreciate that.

Everything about this pizza place was awesome. From our server Amber to the clean bright and vibrant atmosphere. We ended up getting wings and pretzel bites. And two pizzas. The house special and the Funky Q. Chicken. And all of it was delicious. Definitely should be your first choice if looking for pizza in the area.

Great food all around and fast & friendly service. They had a nice fenced in, outdoor patio for us to bring our dog too. Fantastic location!
