Mellow Mushroom Alpharetta – Milton - The Story

Inspired by a timeless toy — the hula hoop — the restaurant incorporates circular artwork and panels to create a cohesive design. The brick building has glass doors and windows lining the front entrance and facade. Guests can dine on the spacious patio, located directly in front of the restaurant, which offers plentiful seating that is shaded by a vibrant yellow canopy. Inside, circular portraits of famous musicians hang in front of bold, striped walls. The spacious interior and open-style kitchen create a flowing, inviting space. Above, colorful hula hoops and circular lights hang from the ceiling to round out the nostalgic theme.

About Mellow Mushroom Alpharetta – Milton

Located near the Golf Club of Georgia and the Jeckyll Brewing Company, the restaurant has been a local favorite for more than 15 years. Our guests come in for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! We are proud to sponsor local sports teams and spirit nights.

The pizza at this mellow mushroom was amazing perhaps even the holy grail of pizza! As well I was blown away by the fair maiden known as Susie serving the restaurant, she was swift in movement and chock full of charisma and charm! In my mind I was taken back to the times of old watching her serve delicious pizza and cold thirst quenching beer! They were under staffed but it was hard to tell with her big smile and amazing service as well as how fast the food came out!

I ordered my food for pickup and did not eat in. Going in to pick it up made me wish that I had time to sit in and really absorb all the decor in the restaurant as it was vibrant and intriguing. I got the Holy Shitake Pie and it was great visually and taste wise! The staff were welcoming. I think next time I'll see if I can add extra mushrooms though lol Oh! This was also really cost effective I spent like 14 dollars on the small size pizza and I ended up full!

Excellent service, food and everything we ordered came out to perfection, even the IPA on draft was fresh. Was not busy for a Saturday evening at all for a Mellow Mushrooms at this location which we did find odd so we went in with extremely low expectations when we walked in but they definitely had their A game and ready. Definitely going back.
