Mellow Mushroom Marietta – Johnson Ferry - The Story

Inspired by the Paper Mill and Sope Creek Ruins, the restaurant is a whimsical and sophisticated blend of natural elements, enchanted creatures, and funky Mellow touches. The exterior of the building features arches in bold red brick, a contrasting Mellow Mushroom sign, and a spacious covered patio.

The interior of the restaurant is a magical mushroomland. Intricate murals of enchanted creatures, soap bubbles, and outdoor scenes offer something new to discover with every visit. The vivid tabletops create contrast against the hardwood floors, and a large bar area provides plenty of seating. Funky forest creatures made by Atlanta-based artists are found throughout the space, adding a playful touch to the imaginative theme. Looking for a scavenger hunt? On one of the walls is a Tiny Door from Atlanta based renowned artist Karen Anderson Singer.

About Mellow Mushroom Marietta – Johnson Ferry

Located near the Chattahoochee River and Walton High School, the restaurant opened its doors in February 2020. Our guests come in regularly for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and a great time!

Ample parking is available around the restaurant. Bring your furry friend to dine with you on our dog-friendly patio and try your new favorite pizza at Mellow Mushroom!

This is the fanciest Mellow Mushroom we have ever been to! Love the outlets under the bar seating for charging my phone (and the hooks for purses!) They have great food, great drinks! We went on 4/20 so they had 420 specials! 👍✌️

Mellow Mushroom literally has the best pizza ever. Their food is always the best, and the restaurant is decorated so beautifully. I definitely recommend getting pretzels for an appetizer (not the bites the big ones I think are better) they're so delicious. Will always be my favorite restaurant 🍕💛
