Mellow Mushroom Snellville - The Story

The restaurant has a vintage, family-friendly vibe. The exterior of the building is avocado green brick with burnt orange wood trim. A spacious outdoor patio is shaded by a black awning, and string lights hang overhead. Inside, square ceiling tiles and plush booths create a cozy atmosphere. Glass pendant lights with a brass finish hang from the ceiling, and a colorful mural has been painted above the windows in the dining room. The artwork of a Mellow character evolving from a mushroom hangs on a room divider, adding a playful touch to the design.

About Mellow Mushroom Snellville

Located near Stone Mountain Park, the restaurant has been a local favorite since 1999. Edited to give them 5 stars. Tried dine in 6/12/22. Staff was great, pizza was better than my carry out one...which confirms they did make it early and it sat out before I got there. But my dine in experience was 5 stars. If I ever do take out, I'm going to head straight there so I don't risk them making it early and it sitting. Definitely better for dine in! Hopefully they'll not make carry out orders too early anymore! 6/10/22-Take out experience, 4 stars: While it wasn't the best mellow mushroom pizza I've had, it was good. Pretzels and cheese were good. Wish MM wasn't soo expensive and that cheese came either with the pretzels or that they had a half order of bites! Not the stores fault, but I'd have it more often if those were offered and it was cheaper. $13 for a 10" is crazy! Again, not the best made MM pizza I've had, but not the worse. Decent and quick curbside service. Not sure if it was just made early and sat out or if it's normally like this though. Will have to give dine in a try one day.

Mellow Mushroom is a great pizza place. I think their crust is one of the best. You can customize your pizza in more ways than you can imagine. Nice selection of craft beer. Stephanie was our server tonight and she was fabulous. Helpful and upbeat. Even the young man who brought our pizzas was nice, and very helpful. He suggested we try the beer cheese sauce and he was so right. I wore my vintage Mellow Mushroom t-shirt and everyone loved it. We are going to be back soon.

Got to go to Mellow Mushroom today for lunch. I got the 10" House Special. The pizza was MASSIVE. I could only eat about half, which was sad because it was a fantastic pie. The staff was very friendly, and the pizza was ready very quickly.

Mellow Mushroom is one of my top favs. Every time I head South. Great food and the customer service was excellent! Shout out to Natalie; thank you.

I had never been to this Mellow Mushroom. The one I had gone to a few times was in Midtown. This establishment is located in a small corner, gives off a cozy vibe, and feels more like a diner. The aesthetic is what you expect with Mellow Mushroom, and I like it. I really appreciate there being vegetarian and vegan options offered, although I do wish there were some more. My date and I ordered a veggie hoagie and veggie calzone. The hoagie tasted good, and the tots that came with it were decent. The calzone was for me and I enjoyed it at the time. To be honest, it was not anything to run home about, however I did finish most of it. As far as customer service, it was great. The staff is kind, they're quick, and give off a positive energy that my date and I really appreciated (:
