Mellow Mushroom Valdosta - The Story

The white stone exterior lures guests with red Mellow sign and an artistic black glass storefront window lined with colored bars. Statues of Mel, our own Mellow hero, and the Hulk greet guests. Coming inside feels like stepping into a comic book. The restaurant is filled with superhero statues, art, and murals. An “M” superhero emblem is painted above the bar. The fun carries out onto the covered patio, which includes a designated corn hole area.

About Mellow Mushroom Valdosta

Located near Valdosta State University, the restaurant has been a favorite for students and locals since 2014. Our guests come in regularly for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and a great time! We are proud to support local schools, sports teams, nonprofits, and community events.

Customer Reviews

We were not wowed by the attentiveness of the server, but the medium pizza we bought for 3 people had us all stuffed with 2 huge pieces to take home. We ordered the house special pizza with extra sauce and it was loaded with toppings. Get extra napkins and bring your own straw if you don't like yours made of cardboard. The women's bathroom could use some attention, especially the sinks and mirror, but the restaurant was overall very clean.

This was our first visit and the place was empty when we got there at 11AM on a Sunday. The pizza was great and it looks like a great atmosphere to hangout. We ordered both thin and regular crust, I could not tell the difference between the two.
