Mellow Mushroom St. Louis - The Story

The front of this modern gray brick building is decorated with neon green trim and a large glass tower. A “love” sculpture sits near the entrance. A massive beer garden and shaded patio in the back provide ample seating options. The outdoor bar area also features a concrete bar, shiny metal backsplash, wood slats, and stained glass windows. Inside, large windows let in wonderful natural light. The indoor bar area has circular pendant lights, red under-bar lighting, and lots of seating. A slatted, wavy ceiling treatment and striped floors give a contemporary look to the space.

About Mellow Mushroom St. Louis

Located near the WWT Soccer Park and Laumeier Sculpture Park, our restaurant has been a local favorite since 2016. Guests visit us for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! We’re proud to support local schools.

First time at this chain. Really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is fun with the groovy decor. The staff was friendly. They've got a full bar with lots on tap, and a monthly beer special. The pizza was good, nice dough for the crust. The pretzels are made to order and really good. Salad was great. Only criticism was the soup could have been hotter.

This art-filled pizzeria is very clean and beautifully decorated. Customer service is excellent, servers are very polite and informative. Outside patio is cozy, decorated, and nice. They use fresh ingredients, and they make really good stone baked pizzas. This time I had take out dinner, but I’ll definitely be back here with my friends. They have great selection of crafted beers, wines and fresh cocktails (free from dyes, high fructose corns syrup. All natural ingredients!). One of the most important things for me, when it comes to restaurant rating, is restroom cleanliness. For this place I’ll give 5* because everything was extremely clean. Excellent food, great drinks, beautiful interior and exterior, clean restrooms, great customer service. Well deserved 5*!

Ate here on a Thursday with my book club. A lively and unique atmosphere right off the bat! They have a bar, tons of seating, many TVs, and an outdoor patio with yard games. A great place to get a salad and pizza. I enjoyed the Breckenridge Vanilla Porter on draft. The mushroom pizza was very good. You can order gluten free crust if you wish! I'd eat here again.
