Mellow Mushroom Charlotte – Myers Park - The Story

Inspired by Woodstock, the restaurant is filled with nods to the 60s and 70s. The brick building features large windows and a wrap-around awning. A shaded patio offers colorful seating, peace fingers statue, and hanging string lights for a charming dining experience. Inside, guests can sit and eat in a brightly painted VW bus that serves as the focal point of the dining room. Other nods to Woodstock include a mural with ticket images and a concert scene — complete with stage and crowd. A painted street runs along part of the floor, winding around the booths. A bold color palette and lots of funky paintings enhance the hippy-inspired feel of the space.

About Mellow Mushroom Charlotte – Myers Park

Located near Bank of America Stadium and Queens University, the restaurant has been a favorite for locals since 2011. Our guests come in for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! I'm catching up on reviews. I was at this location for dinner on Saturday, 03-26-22 with a group. I ordered the Merry Prankster. It was pretty good. I was 1 of the few who had an order without issues. Though we expected to wait because of the number in our party, the restaurant appeared to be understaffed. When someone told our server that their order wasn't right, he told them that the cook didn't know how to make what they asked for.

Absolutely love this place! A must go every time i visit NC from PA. Love the atmosphere and the food is great! Prescott was our awesome waiter! We will be back…

It's been a while, but we can always count of mellow mushroom. Great flavor, lots of toppings, good beer deals and friendly staff. Always. The Cuban pizza is my new favorite.

Look, food was good. Our actual server Kirby, was fantastic 👏 BUT "Brooklyn" (manager/server/employee with a chip on her shoulder) baby, stop. You got mad that we moved a table out the way so that grown men could sit in the booth without their bellys touching the table, after we asked if we could, and we moved it to a section that was not being used on a "not busy" Tue night. Like what? Then you came to reprimand the party Kirby was serving- rudely and highly immature of you IF you were the manager. Luckily we are only visiting but for those locals that have to deal with this childish behavior, smh. The best thing you did tonight was storm off after threatening that you "could kick us out if you wanted to". Kirby-you were great Brooklyn-were praying for you.
