Mellow Mushroom Columbia - The Story

Our restaurant is located in a stately, two-story brick building that is over 100 years old. Inside, guests are greeted by a grand staircase that is original to the building. Inspired by the nearby University of South Carolina, the interior is decorated with South Carolina Gamecock art. There are two full bars — one upstairs and one downstairs — and a famous statue our of Dude character hanging from the bookcase.

About Mellow Mushroom Columbia

Situated in the Vista District of Columbia near the SC Statehouse, we’re a favorite of locals and students in Columbia and the University of South Carolina. Our guests come to us for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a unique atmosphere, and a great time! We are proud to support local fundraisers and charity organizations.
