Mellow Mushroom Greenville SC - The Story

The store is in an old cotton warehouse from the late 1800s with exposed brick walls on the exterior. Inside, the restaurant is modern Greenville. Large geometric murals wrap the walls. Two mushrooms that almost reach the ceiling stand at the entrance. A rainbow wave covers the front of the restaurant. Bold colors topped with black geometric designs make up the other mural walls.

My soup and salad were delicious, but not worth the 40 minute carryout wait. While the Ceasar Salad was well seasoned and tossed, the croutons were very soggy so I know it wasn't freshly made for my order. The magic mushroom soup was also delicious... a bit strange that it came with a receipt hanging out of my soup.

The restaurant was clean. Service was wonderful. We have never been disappointed by the food. It's our favorite pizza shop. Make sure you get the pretzel bites and cheese!

Had the 10 inch dish “mighty meaty” today. Comes with pepperoni, ham, sausage and bacon. Really good pizza. I love Mellow Mushrooms crust. (See pic below)
