Mellow Mushroom Hilton Head - The Story

Inspired by the beach, the restaurant takes guests to a Mellow island getaway. The walls are covered with blue skies and a mural of our character, Dude, surfing. Large mushroom statues flank the seating area and blue peace signs line the booths. Beach bikes hang above the booths, showing the way our locals prefer to get around the beach. The bar is covered by a grass roof.

Located near the beautiful Hilton Head beaches, our restaurant has been a local favorite for nearly 20 years. Guests come in regularly for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a fun atmosphere, and a great time! We are proud to support local schools, sports teams, and community events.

While on a spring break trip, and on our way back from visiting Hilton Head, we decided to stop and have dinner at here The food was great, and either tops or ties my last review of Another Slice. It was steaming hot when we got it, the dough, as well as the toppings, were amazing. I had a 10 inch personal pizza, with mozzarella and parmesan as the base and bacon, black olives, and honey ham as the toppings. I'll say it again, it was amazing. The service on the night we went was decent (definitely worth the wait), and while when we got there it wasn't busy, and the service was fast, later on the service did slow, as our waiter (who was very nice and patient) was serving at least 3 or 4 tables at once. There was also a single salad that never made it out of the kitchen, but after telling our waiter, he gladly took it off the bill. The atmosphere was pretty mellow (pun totally intended), and the decor was similar—but not identical—to other Mellow Mushrooms I've been to. Overall, a great experience with Mellow Mushroom, a restaurant I haven't been to in years.

Walked in here and what a pleasant surprise. It's a pizza place with other options. We had the White chicken chili and wow was that good. Like give me a gallon to go good. We also had spinach salads which were good as well. Made for a great late lunch. I'm guessing the pizza must be really good if the options items are excellent. Our server was terrific, she was patient, friendly and attentive. Her name was Grace. Local crowd at the bar watching the winter Olympics. I forgot to photo the white chicken chili so the empty bowls are pictured Nice atmosphere Nice place.

Great pizza place in the Harris Tetter shopping center. Outdoor seating, indoor seating, full bar too. Lots of mushroom art everywhere - and the trolley bus and games for kids to play. Friendly hostess & hosts. Pizza was fresh & hot out of the oven. Beer selection is great - lots of local beers on rotating taps. Single story - restrooms not marked ADA accessible, but pretty sure most wheelchairs could roll in there. Oh - and they have an outside dart board too. With a light over it, just like other pubs. Bring your own darts.

Quite unexpected. The pizza was delicious. Garlic Parmesan Wings were good, and the cheese bread helped get everything started. The Peach Margarita was a banger! Pays to have coupons 😝

Amazing pizza, fresh ingredients cooked just right. Funky decor that's a lot of fun. Prices very reasonable. Definitely want to go back.
