Mellow Mushroom Myrtle Beach - The Story

Palm trees line the exterior of this golf-themed restaurant. Guests enter through a stacked stone, mushroom-shaped castle tower that’s accented with yellow and capped with a red roof. A large yellow and green golf cart is parked right in the center of the restaurant, providing seating for up to 10 guests. Paintings on the walls feature various Mellow characters playing golf. The patio offers outdoor bar seating and glass garage doors that can drop down to partially enclose the space.

This place will ruin all other pizza for you, seriously. The mushroom soup is to die for. Nice big beer and cocktail selection. Not a single bad thing on the menu. Nice chill, relaxing atmosphere, and the staff are all friendly and good at their job! Don’t eat anywhere else in Myrtle Beach!

We visited this location during hurricane Ian and this was one of the only restaurants open. The staff were amazing despite all of the rude customers! Again you were all fantastic from the front door to the kitchen! We had garlic parmesan wings and I large pizza. The pizza was half Havana and holy shiitake! Everything was incredible on every level! This was the best experience we have ever had at any mellow mushroom! Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🚀

The service was awesome and the food was even better. The spinach artichoke was to die for. Very garlicky which I love. And the pizza was great too. The buffalo chicken pizza with blue cheese was delicious and very flavorful and the “meat lovers” which is called the mighty meat or something to that effect was also very good. I recommend this place 100%. No complaints whatsoever.

YUUM!!! Was here twice in the four-day visit with my parents over the weekend - it was that good! Photos are of pizza with basil personal size was perfect so tasty plenty of cheese crust was delicious! Also photo of the best bruschetta I've ever had the whole table agreed.. just delicious and great service.

First time here. We had the wings for an appetizer which were really good. Ordered the great white (white pizza) good also along with the service. We enjoyed and would go back again. Give it a try you decide 🤔
