Mellow Mushroom Arlington - The Story

Inspired by the 70s, the restaurant features hippie-inspired touches and a bright color palette. The building has a red brick exterior and a spacious patio for outdoor dining. Inside, a lava-lamp chandelier serves as a playful, eye-catching focal point. Tie-dye spirographs line the walls, and colorful circular panels hang from the ceiling. The spacious bar area includes a bold mural, lava lamps, and black lighting. In the main dining area, circular booth dividers and funky paintings enhance the vibrant feel of the space.

About Mellow Mushroom Arlington

Located near Texas Christian University and the University of Texas at Arlington, the restaurant has been a favorite for locals and students since 2011. Guests come in regularly for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! We’re proud to sponsor local sports teams and spirit nights.

We had an amazing waiter Jake. He was patient with us even though we got there about 20 minutes before closing. He was awesome in suggesting what we should choose. The strawberry lemon limeade was delicious and so was the brownie. The wings were wonderful and the pizza was good. I liked that we could get half and half on the wings and pizza. Cloud 9 and hot sauce wings were mine and my friends favorite part of the meal. Nice atmosphere and the coupon I got on my receipt was a nice plus. Definitely a repeat place for me!

10/10 Pizzas were great. I suggest coming with hunger unlike me. Jonesy was the bomb dot com as a server. Would definitely come back again! Loved the cocktails!

The food here is really good. Even though we called to place an order to go, we ended up eating here after seeing how chill the environment inside the restaurant was! The bar looks amazing and they have more tables on the other side. We ordered our favorites: Large Kosmic Karma pizza and the Garlic cheese bread as an appetizer

Went here for the first time and was not disappointed at all. My family does not consume any animal products and this place was accommodating to our dietary needs. We got the Veg Out pizza without olives subbed for jalapeño. No cheese. They do have Follow Your Heart non dairy cheese, but we don’t eat fake cheese either. Nonetheless, the pizza was great 👍🏾 I would recommend anyone try this place at least once. Also the service is good, they have a very friendly waitstaff.
