Mellow Mushroom Fort Worth - The Story

Inspired by the traditional haciendas, our restaurant is decorated with vibrant colors. Quirky and fun pizza sculptures hang from the ceiling as if the Mellow pizza bakers tossed a pie and it was caught in the rafters. The counter is decorated with mosaic tiles in a classic Spanish inspired design. Mellow’s well-known, colorful mushroom artwork covers the walls. The fence in front of the building is lined with brightly colored metal flowers. The restaurant entranceway is marked with two painted Spanish bulls on either side and a beautiful water ball display in the middle.

About Mellow Mushroom Fort Worth

Not far from Texas Christian University, we’re a long-time favorite for locals and students who come in for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a unique atmosphere, and a great time! We are proud to support local schools.

Was definitely a mellow place! We had an amazing waitress always made sure our glasses were filled always came over with a smile. I definitely do love my pizza as far as the potato pizza I wasn't necessarily the biggest fan of I didn't really taste much potatoes imo I feel like if they went w square crispy potatoes that would make this pizza a next level dish for sure make them square and crispy not saying the pizza was bad by any means we destroyed it and only had one pizza slice left to take home. The place was real clean which is definitely always a plus in my eyes and they had a lot of different pizzas to try so definitely going to have to come back as well as the people sitting behind us talking about how good the gluten free pizzas is made me want to come back and try that one next time. We enjoyed our meal as well as the waitress we had thank you for making this a great experience mellow

First time we have ever been here and we will DEFINITELY be back!! The food was fantastic! I had the burger my husband and kids had pizza. I cannot say enough about our amazing waitress Sam!! Would’ve given more stars if available!! If u haven’t been here yet you MUST TRY!!
