Mellow Mushroom makes the best pizza in Blacksburg, Virginia. Our industrial restaurant is located on the corner of S Main Street and Washington Street, across from Buckley Moss Gallery. Mellow is a favorite among locals in Radford, Christiansburg, and the surrounding areas.

Mellow Mushroom stone-baked pizzas start with the classic Mellow crust, made with Appalachian spring water. In addition to stone-baked pizzas, Mellow Mushroom serves munchies, salads, sandwiches, and burgers. Pick from a selection of 60 draft beers or a tasty, handcrafted cocktails. Mellow Mushroom Blacksburg - The Story

Inspired by Blacksburg's history, the restaurant reflects the city’s agricultural past. The exterior of the modern brick building features garage doors that can be opened when the weather is just right. Guests can dine on the spacious outdoor patio, overlooking historic Main Street. The interior of the restaurant has rural-themed artwork, including one mural of a tractor and another that features cogs, gears, and railroad signs. Orb chandeliers made from machine parts hang from the tall ceilings, illuminating large round booths. A statue of Mel stands just inside the door, and charming string lights hang overhead. Exposed ductwork, brick walls, and metal accents all add to the industrial feel.

About Mellow Mushroom Blacksburg

Located near Virginia Tech and Blacksburg Library, we’ve been a favorite of locals and students since 2015. Guests come to us for the very best pizza, cold beer, craft cocktails, a vibrant atmosphere, and a great time! We’re proud to sponsor local sports teams and events.

Pick-up only parking is available behind the restaurant. Guests dining in can park on the street or across the street in the parking garage. Feel free to bring your furry friend to dine with you on our dog-friendly patio. Join us for weekly trivia nights or Funday nights with face painting and balloons. Cool place, hot pizzas 😋 I don’t know if it is the baking equipment they are using, but there was a special flavor in my pizza, which I enjoyed. My waitress Presley was really kind and helpful as well. I was there for dinner around 5 and did not have a long wait. Ended up paying around $25 for a small pizza (very filling for one person) and a mocktail.

The service was great, the food was perfect and the music was awesome too! It was lunch time and not a lot of people were there. The lemonade was good and they had kids cups. Waitress even helped me by telling me I could order my food a certain way to pay alittle less.

Can’t go wrong with pizza. And the pretzel bites with spicy beer cheese were amazing!

We brought in a group of 24, and they handled it with ease. Food is not cheap, but no one leaves hungry! They also have a unique drink menu, so it's fun to try new things each time.
