Mellow Mushroom Bristol - The Story

Inspired by country music, the restaurant has a saloon feel with a Mellow twist. The exterior of the building is made up of siding and brick, with playful sunflower sculptures near the entrance. Guests can dine on the spacious outdoor patio, and a bright green and yellow sign lights the way to the restaurant after dark. Inside, wood beams and columns are reminiscent of the old west. The bar area features a wooden backsplash, and multiple chandeliers hang from the vaulted ceilings. Music-inspired murals are found throughout the dining room, adding bright pops of color to the western-themed color palette.

Customer Reviews

My wife and I ate here for an early dinner. We had three appetizers from the happy hour half price menu and a calzone. Our server, Emily, was outstanding. She made great recommendations, was friendly, and kept our glasses filled! We enjoyed our visit and will go back again. Thanks!!

Awesome. The pizza was perfect. The atmosphere was perfect. Our server was perfect. (Summer). I think this is a must go to. The beer list went on and on. 5 stars. Six for Summer.

The pizza was great. With 3 beers and a large pizza, I didn’t really see a $65 value, but it is what it is. Everything was good. Unfortunately they no longer have my favorite pizza: the baked potato pizza. Nor do they have the Louisiana Bourbon Barrel Aged Ale on tap anymore, so that was disappointing since that was the only reason we came back. Good place if you are willing to spend more on a pizza.

My wife bought some pizza for take out. The pizza is amazing. Top quality for sure. I love the speciality pizza list. I ended up getting a large pacific rim. My wife and her father got the house special pizza and my son got pepperoni. All 3 were really good! The only downside is it’s very expensive compared to other pizza places. 3 pizzas (2 large and a small) and a salad was 102$ so unfortunately I won’t be able to dine here often but I’ll definitely come in once or twice a year as a treat.
