Mellow Mushroom Lynchburg, VA - The Story

Celebrating love, history, and the beauty of Virginia, the Mellow Mushroom Lynchburg restaurant features Art Deco-influenced murals that pay homage to the most prominent creators of the Roaring Twenties. These motifs are shown alongside “Virginia is for Lovers” inspired heart-shaped elements found in nature, which are scattered throughout the restaurant and are further personified through the use of elephants, who represent affection, community, and companionship. The landscape of Lynchburg is also depicted in an expansive, mountainous mural over the bar area.
