Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers was founded in 1974 in Atlanta, Georgia. The franchise, operated under Home-Grown Industries of Georgia, Inc., is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. For over 40 years, Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers has been serving up fresh, stone-baked pizzas to order in an eclectic, art-filled, and family-friendly environment. Each Mellow is locally owned and operated and provides a unique feel focused around great customer service and high-quality food.

Bake bus
The Bake Bus is not your average food trailer – it’s a mobile pizza party, complete with good tunes, hot slices, and a chill atmosphere. The heady, pizza-slinging crew have a passion for baking up yummy goodness wherever they may be, and it’s always made with love. The Bake Bus generally shows up at festivals, concerts, breweries, and sporting events. Our mission: To help the masses Mellow down easy. See you on the road!

the Characters ofMellow Mushroom
The central hub for the Mellow world is the Mellow Mushroom Mothership. This hive of activity is where all the Mellow magic happens. Each of the Mothership's crew work around the clock to make this a better world, one slice at a time. In Shroomville, several characters have popped up over the years, starting with Mel. O Mushroom. We later met Mel's family, friends, and characters like The Funguys, and Esperanza, inspired by our food. Over the years, the Mellow characters have appeared in stores, calendars, and even in their own comic strip.
